Subscriptions for Tarmac magazine issue 12 are being mailed out tomorrow, August 12, so expect to see them in mailboxes early next week.
In this issue we go old school, and profile David Cooper's Holden Torana SS A9X, along with Adrian Morrisby's Holden Gemini, visually based on the gravel rally 1976 HDT Gemini coupe of Dave Morrow. Both are super-quick cars that are current tarmac stars.
We also look at Matt Close's Audi TT RS, and stick on the VBOX to see just how fast it really is - and we're sure you'll be as surprised as we were!
In the wake of last weekend's World Time Attack, we profile the top 10 fastest time attack cars in the world, cover a comprehensive wrap of Targa Tasmania 2011, the 20th anniversary, over 13 pages, and lots more like a gaming review of Dirt3, and a battle of Gran Turismo 5 vs Indy 500 on the Atari 2600 to see how far racing games have progressed since 1977.
Want to win stuff? Then this is the last chance for our Velo gear competition where you could win $1000 of Velo product of your choice, along with Spy+ Ken Block sunglasses, T-shirt and cap packs.
It's not too late to subscribe either: orders received before 4pm August 12 will also be guaranteed delivery before the on-sale date of August 18.
